Laravel dev reminder: don't use env() directly in your application code.

Put it in your config, then use config() everywhere else.

Why?

Once you run php artisan config:cache, Laravel doesn't load the .env file during requests.

Pest and Larastan can even help enforce this rule.

Claude just killed another startup👇

Claude Security scans are now running on Claude Mythos 5 and are available in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers.

The idea is simple:

Give Claude access to your codebase, and let it analyze the code for potential security vulnerabilities.

No separate model access is required.

This could make security reviews much more accessible to development teams, especially when scanning large codebases where manually reviewing every part of the application is difficult.

AI-powered security analysis is becoming another layer in the software development lifecycle.

The bigger question is:

How far can AI go in finding vulnerabilities before human security researchers need to step in?
