IF YOU ARE TARGETING EVERYONE, YOU ARE TARGETING NO ONE
Sounds odd right? đ¤But let me tell you why!
When you're starting a business or a project, you would probably think that having a larger audience will give you more profitability, more exposure, more engagements, etc, correct? well actually... Not really.
Actually narrowing down your audience will give you a better chance at success. đŻ
Why? simply put- You can't please everyone. People are most likely to engage in things that speak to them, but if you are marketing it to everyone, they won't be able to identify with what you are offering- you wouldn't have a brand identity.
The thing is, people have different needs so what you are offering will most likely apply to them differently.
⨠So now maybe your wondering, HOW can I niche down?
Make a fictional character of your ideal client đĽ¸
âAre they female/ male?
âWhatâs their age range?
âWhere are they located?
âWhat do they usually do?
âWhat are their interests?
âWhat are their income bracket?
Now once you have identified your ideal client, always go back to them when making business decisions. What would my ideal customer like , how much will they be willing to pay for my service, where would i most likely be able to engage with them? if you know your niche you would know how to market your product or service effectively! It wonât just save you money but it would also save you time and effort!
If you havenât identified yours, itâs not too late! you can start now and if youâre still having trouble, letâs connect!
