It can send that status to the department automatically, as well, so everyone is informed - in real time - of changes in the office atmosphere. 🗣

Workplace data is essential in the changing, modern workplace. 📊

But, the quality of workplace data matters.

SafeGraph argues, in fact, that, “it’s much more important for data to be accurate than abundant.” 👀

According to them, five factors in addition to accuracy impact the strength of workplace data:

🔸 Completeness: Are there areas missing?
🔸 Relevance: Does the data you’re gathering actually answer the questions your organization is interested in?
🔸 Validity: Can your data be reasonably compared to similar data from other organizations? Is it measuring the same things in the way?
🔸 Timeliness: Is your data being collected and used close to the time it was produced?
🔸 Consistency: Are you datasets internally consistent? Do the units of measurements or variables change in a way that affects the reasonably drawn conclusions?

Do colleagues from different generations and backgrounds feel free to communicate and work in the ways most natural to them?

In this Forbes article, Geoffrey Roche posits organizations must intentionally create company cultures that center belonging.

He suggests a host of strategies to combat , , and , while boosting talent retention and attraction.

Roche says, "That is why [he believes] that when organizations talk about recruitment, retention, the Great Resignation, quiet quitting, career cushioning or other workforce trends, it is imperative that they always look at their culture and ensure they are doing everything possible to maintain one that values and holds others accountable to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging."
