Good Maven CUSTOM BUILT SQUARESPACE WEBSITES
Hello! Emily here.

When I left my corporate career behind in 2007, my website arrived on Google’s page one for “Eco Chic Weddings” and replaced my full-time job at Martha Stewart within 3 months of launch.

Before I design a website, I find out what the audience is looking for. Facebook is a powerful place for research and discovery, and almost nobody is doing this. Everyone is talking over each other, which makes it easy to pull valuable insights out and use them to create winning websites. Book a call to learn how: https://calendly.com/mavn

You think you don’t need a website and you’re right. You also don’t need a car—but that might mean you’ll need a new pair of walking shoes 👟
So maybe you have a website. Great, check that off your list. Next. But then wait—something happens like, oh let’s just be crazy and imagine some Pandemic happens ( totally unrealistic I know 🤣)
But you can’t change your website because your web developer is too busy making masks
Or maybe they changed careers and now they own a flower shop 🌺
Well you just have to suck it up right?
Not anymore. Your website is an extension of you and your business. Not having a good website that you can manage is a liability—especially when things change on the fly.
Get empowered—get a great website by Good Maven 🙏

Here's why you want to stop rushing out and creating online courses...how can you compete with
Here's a story...
Protagonist:
Time: Circa 2005
Setting: NYC
Plot: Inveterate marketing executive at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has recently made the decision change her career, she discusses moving into the Editorial department of the company and applies for editorial roles at other magazines.
Scene: Our Protagonist is in the middle of a job interview for an editorial role at a major lifestyle publication. Here Interviewer is a Senior Editor.
Senior Editor (reviewing Protagonist's portfolio): So is this editorial or advertising work?
Protagonist: I worked with both Editorial and Advertising, so some of each.
Senior Editor: But do you have actual Editorial experience?
Protagonist: Crickets
Scene.
I couldn't get a magazine to hire me for an editorial job b/c I was forever branded as a member of the marketing/advertising team (Editorial often looked down upon us "revenue generators")
I found it equally challenging to get freelance writing jobs writing for magazines...
BUT I used the digital tools and the online platforms available...at the time...
What did I do? How did I get magazines to not only publish my writing, but to feature me and my books in their magazine?
