Update for our Speak it! Users:

Late this past summer we promised you a new version of Speak it! and development of the updated app was going great for an end of summer release when iOS 8 was introduced. At the time we had to make the hard choice at the end of October that it was no longer feasible to add iOS 7 and 8 support on 5+ year old codebase that was originally released on iOS 2.

We decided that it made more sense for development and our customers user experience to start a complete rewrite of iSpeak 3.0, with a brand new design. We have been hard at work since November and would finally like to show you a sneak peak at what we have been working on.

We hope you guys enjoy whats coming for iSpeak 3.0, and truly appreciated all our loyal customers patience during this time as we wrap up development and release it in the coming month!

(and yes the Speak it! Store will be back online for iSpeak 3.0 with even more language support AND new fun voices!)

The Speak it! Store to purchase additional voices is currently down for the next few weeks while we transition the store to a new servers. The store will be back up once the new version of Speak it! is released on the App Store.

We are aware that our iOS Apps are currently not listed on the App Store. This is an issue related with Apple's Developer Server being hacked, and we are working with Apple to have our Apps listed back on the store as soon as possible.

iSpeak Translator for the Mac has finally been updated with 12 additional languages. Now every language that is available for the iOS apps are all included in the Mac app!

Speak it! 2.6 has been released! This is a interim update for Speak it! 3.0 (yes its finally coming!), which include bug fixes and important architectural changes.

Please note, due to the large changes to the voice engine, any additional voices you have previously purchased has been deleted. To restore your voices simply visit the Speak it! Store (tap on the "info" button on an iPhone, or the "tag" icon on the iPad), and press on the "Restore" button. All previous purchases under the currently logged in iTunes account will automatically download and install.
