A postal update worth a note if you send at volume.
Effective September 1, 2026, USPS is revising several of its Labeling Lists to reflect changes in how mail is processed. Mailers are expected to label according to the updated lists for mailings entered on or after that date.
Changes like this are minor when your infrastructure handles postal presort and labeling logic for you, and a genuine headache when your team maintains that mapping by hand. Every time the lists shift, someone has to catch it, update it, and hope nothing slipped through before they did.
This is exactly the kind of quiet, recurring maintenance that infrastructure is meant to absorb so you never have to think about it.
