Over 20 years ago, I moved to the city to follow a Broadway dream. I was able to live in this expensive city because of my side business. I had taken a HS computer class which included a chapter on HTML & basic website design. During college, I taught myself graphic design & Flash animation. By the time I moved to NYC, could start a website design business that started with friends then kept expanding to Tony-Award winners & Off-Broadway shows. When I was auditioning, it paid the rent. When I was on crutches, it gave me an artistic outlet. When I pivoted from theatre, it allowed me the freedom to find a new path.
Now 5+ years into my fitness career, I have found new growth in myself. This past year has given me opportunities that I’d only wished for. With that, I have realized that I cannot continue to spread myself thin. It’s not fair to myself or my clients to have a business I cannot fully commit to.
It is with a heavy heart & optimism toward the future that I close up shop at the year’s end.
To all my clients over the years, I extend my sincerest appreciation. It gives me great pride that I may have played a small part in your career success. I am proud to have worked with you & extremely grateful for your trust over the years.
