Heike Kelter, Saphir, 2021
Kelter is a German postwar and contemporary artist. Of her work she says, “the development in my paintings hold emboldened relationships with intentionally expansive form and decisive colour. These components are stripped down. This is my inherent approach for a personal viewpoint of painting.”
Her work has been featured by exhibitions in Germany, Austria, and the US. She resides in Berlin.

This South Korean creator's Instagram account is updated with new pieces most days. Interestingly, not much is known about the artist— they don't share their name or much else that might allude to their identity. In fact, the account reads "not an artist," despite the intriguing and obvious talent, craftsmanship, and imagination. Muddycap manages to create work that walks a fine line between function and whimsicality. Needless to say, we're hooked.

Debra Freelander, Gaussian Blue, 2015
Freelander was an American sculptor that created from an ecofeminist and millennial lens. She received the 2016 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award, was a founding member of the artist collective, MATERIAL GIRLS, and was mentioned in Hyperallergic’s list of the year’s top 15 Brooklyn art shows.
Devra Freelander was tragically killed at 28 years old in 2019 when she was struck by a vehicle while on her bicycle in Brooklyn. Her work continues to be a source of exploration and inspiration.

Alanis Forde, A Box of Bubbles, 2021
Forde is a contemporary Barbadian artist that often highlights and questions topics of black identity, Caribbean exoticism, and beliefs around normative femininity. Her mesmerizing use of vibrant colors depict what Forde describes as a paradisiacal dystopia. The figure seen here, and in many other of the artists’ works, is a proxy named “Bubbles” who “navigates these landscapes documenting, archiving and capturing the essence of what I means to be both trapped and free of paradise.”
