Foxwoods Resort Casino partnered with MoEngage and Fueled to modernize guest communication across email and SMS.

Over time, messaging had grown across different tools, workflows, guest segments, and campaigns. The same guest could exist across multiple audiences, with disconnected systems shaping different parts of the experience.

Fueled helped Foxwoods:
🧩 consolidate fragmented messaging workflows into MoEngage
🔗 connect guest data with the right messaging and timing
⚡ plan timely emails and texts around key guest moments
🎯 design more personalized messaging using guest behavior and dynamic content

The result was a stronger foundation for guest communication that is more timely, coordinated, and personalized.

For many small service businesses, their website plays a direct role in revenue generation.

That made the customer experience behind Jobber’s WordPress and Wix integrations especially important. The goal was to help business owners add booking and service request functionality to the sites they already manage, with a setup experience that was straightforward and dependable.

For WordPress, Fueled built an integration that feels like a natural part of the CMS. Site owners can connect Jobber from the dashboard using only their login information, and can drop booking functionality onto any page using a new Jobber block in the editor.

For Wix, we built a native app that brings the same core capability into the Wix editor environment.

The result:
⚙️ a frictionless setup
🧩 an intuitive experience inside the CMS
📲 booking tools embedded directly into the website
📈 a stronger path from traffic to conversion

This is where thoughtful CMS work creates real business value. When the publishing and site editing experience is clear and well integrated, it becomes much easier for a website to support growth.

WordPress 7.0 is here, and it marks a meaningful step forward for AI in WordPress. 🙌🏻

🔌 The release introduces AI Connectors: a new standardized way for developers to add AI features and capabilities while giving site owners clearer governance and control over any connected AI services.

Alongside the release, the official WordPress AI plugin also reached version 1.0, shedding its previous “AI Experiments” name. Fueled has led development of the plugin as part of our work with the WordPress AI Team, helping establish an open, canonical foundation for practical AI capabilities inside WordPress.

WordPress 7.0 also includes a refreshed admin experience ✨, clearer visual revisions 👀, and simpler editing for reusable patterns 🧩: practical improvements for the teams managing content operations every day.

Fueled was deeply involved in the release, with 21 team members contributing to WordPress 7.0. Several team members also held key release roles:
• Ankit Gupta served as Release Test Lead
• Mukesh Panchal served as Release Tech Lead
• Peter Wilson and Fabian Kaegy were recognized as Noteworthy Contributors

Check out the full list of contributors in the comments.

For us, contributing to WordPress is part of how we stay close to where the platform is going, actively help shape where it goes next, and bring that insight back to the enterprise teams and high-scale digital products we support.

20+ Fueled team members helped make WordPress 7.0, which introduces AI Connectors, an official AI plugin, and editorial improvements.

Planet 9 came to Fueled with an early AI-built prototype of Neelo, an educational iPad app designed to help children build life skills through play. The prototype proved the concept. What it lacked was the structure needed to scale, evolve, and support a production release.

Our mobile apps team rebuilt Neelo while staying intentionally AI-first. The difference was not whether AI was used, but how. Experienced practitioners guided architecture, product decisions, and quality control, armed with internal tooling that equips AI development platforms with Fueled’s standards, workflows, and review practices.

The result: a production-grade app foundation designed to grow with the product, its audience, and Planet 9’s long-term vision.

Using an AI-first approach, Fueled cost-effectively delivered a kid-friendly iPad app for Planet 9 that teaches life skills.

Too often, digital product research is treated as if the readout is the end of the UX researcher’s work: scope the study, run the sessions, synthesize the findings, present the deck, and move on.

The work may be rigorous. The findings may be sharp. But if they never meaningfully shape what gets built, the business value is limited.

At Fueled, we push for research to be embedded across the product lifecycle, not brought in episodically to produce a presentation. That means researchers are in the room for design reviews, build conversations, and the in-flight tradeoffs that determine what actually changes in the product.

Once a finding is handed from researcher to product manager to designer to engineer, it can become a telephone game: compressed, translated, and reprioritized, with everyone left hoping the original insight survived the handoff.

Keeping researchers in the conversation reduces that loss and focuses more of the team’s time on turning insight into product change, not re-explaining what the research meant.

Design Director Paige Maguire calls for a rethink of the readout-as-finish-line model in our latest blog post. 🏁

User research creates the most value when insights stay connected to product decisions, design tradeoffs, and shipped improvements.

For the Good Housekeeping UK Kitchen app, we worked within a proven mobile framework and extended it with custom features designed specifically for cooking and discovery. Swipe-to-discover browsing and a guided Cooking Mode added new layers of interaction, while preserving the reliability of the underlying platform.

By engineering modular, React-based components that integrate seamlessly into the app architecture, we created an experience that feels polished, intuitive, and purpose-built.

A strong foundation, thoughtfully extended to support a more engaging product experience.

We reimagined how 4,000+ recipes could live in a mobile app for Good Housekeeping UK, enhancing a proven platform with custom-built features.

⚙️ For enterprise teams, the best mobile architecture often builds on the organization’s existing engineering ecosystem.

If a team already has mature and investments including shared design systems, accessibility standards, analytics patterns, and development workflows, React Native can be a natural extension while also delivering native interfaces.

That approach worked well with Goosehead Insurance. We shipped a cross-platform app aligned with their other React-based work and Salesforce-centered backend, while still going native where it mattered, including Apple Wallet.

Our VP of Engineering & Technology Sage Young explains how we evaluate React Native vs Flutter vs native.

In mobile app and digital product work, one architectural consideration comes up again and again: should we build with Flutter, React Native, or native iOS/Android? In the increasingly uncommon case where a product is only targeting either iOS or Android, we usually recommend building on native fram...

A digital product can hit every internal milestone and still miss the market.

The team can ship on time. The interface can be polished. The roadmap can be approved. The launch can look successful from the inside.

But the real measure of product success is whether people choose it and keep using it.

In our latest blog post, Jessica Wagner, our Managing Partner for Digital Product, describes four habits of teams that create digital products people actually use, with concrete project examples:

🔎 They start with the problem, not the feature list
↩️ They design for reasons to return, not just ease of use
⚡ They test for real demand, not polite approval
🎯 They define success before scope

How effective product teams align around real demand, customer value, and measurable product success to build products people actually use.

A strong integration strategy can have an outsized impact on how a product grows.

In our work with Jobber, the opportunity was to bring booking and service requests to WordPress and Wix in a way that would be easy for small business owners to adopt and practical for Jobber to extend over time.

We partnered with Jobber to evaluate the implementation options, align the approach to customer needs, and build a model that could work across platforms. The solution combined native CMS experiences with Jobber’s embedded booking flow, supported by a shared middleware layer for easy and secure authentication.

The outcome:
🧠 a clearer product strategy shaped by real customer needs
🔄 a repeatable integration model across platforms
🔐 a simpler and more secure setup experience
🚀 a stronger foundation for future growth

For a long time, the size of a design team was a competitive advantage. Larger teams could explore more directions, produce more layouts, and move more quickly from concept to ex*****on.

That equation is changing. As AI makes it easier to explore multiple concepts and generate wireframes, layouts, and front-end design systems, sheer bandwidth for asset output becomes less of an edge.

In her new post, Senior Director Paige Maguire unpacks why taste and trust are becoming more valuable: the instincts and judgment to identify the right direction, and the ability to create product experiences enriched by AI that still rightly earn audience confidence.

AI is changing how design teams work. Learn why trust and taste are becoming the real differentiators in product design.
