This week’s Nuventure Tech Talk: SOPs, the most underrated document in any org
Led by Arun George, Project Manager. His designer example said it all: a clear, documented requirement means smooth ex*****on. An unclear one means rework, delays, and lost time: same task, different outcome.
Why SOPs matter: they remove ambiguity and make quality repeatable, not accidental.
The debate that stuck: should SOPs flex with the situation? And on what basis do you actually change one? Conclusion: SOPs should be built and modified through the filter of company values, culture, and experience. Not one or the other: both, tested against what the org stands for.
For engineering teams especially: following SOPs on daily tasks quietly builds departmental knowledge for the future.
