Fulfill by Merchant (“FBM”)

A customer browsing through Amazon, views and purchases your product on the Amazon site. This order is immediately downloaded to the merchant’s ERP system where the order is acknowledged within two hours, and at such time integrates with the merchant’s stock system.
The merchant then automatically sends a tracking number to Amazon, which Amazon will pass on to the customer. This tracking number is linked directly to the merchant who is fully responsible for delivering the product to the customer. The stock quantity gets updated on the Amazon system.
The customer will make the payment through Amazon, which automatically integrates with the merchant’s ERP system. DatametrIQ®’s FBM platform gives merchants more control, as they will continue to maintain hands on access to their inventory whenever they need it.
Fulfill by Amazon (“FBA”)
DatametrIQ®’s FBA platform allows your company to increase its sales while avoiding growing pains that exist when entering the eCommerce world, enabling your business to seamlessly integrate with Amazon. Here, the merchants ship their products to an Amazon warehouse, allowing them to take full control of the sale. The quantity of stock shipped to Amazon is noted on the system. When the stock level count is fully integrated with the total stock level of the company, complete transparency is in evidence.
Amazon processes the payments and passes this on to the merchant, taking a percentage of the sale for warehousing, shipping and handling. The merchant is automatically made aware of what was shipped leaving their stock level updated.
The process of shipping your products to Amazon is easily set up with Amazon giving you clear directions on which warehouse to send your products to. This begins with the creation of a purchase order through EDI, which reaches Amazon who will respond with delivery details.
In short, these platforms have the ability to remove the headaches from using Amazon to sell your products.
