The Obama Presidential Center is grounded in a vision that places the power of change not in a single individual, but in the hands of communities and the people who bring it to life 🤝.

In the words of President Obama: “We didn’t build the Obama Presidential Center to celebrate my ability to bring about change. We did it to unlock yours. We want this to be a place where anyone can come to find inspiration and get the tools you need to take action in your own community. This is not a monument to the past. It’s a living destination for people who refuse to accept the status quo.” 💫

This vision defines the Center as a living civic destination designed to inspire action, possibility, and engagement for generations.

Opening this Friday, June 19, the 19.3-acre campus introduces a new kind of civic destination, bringing together a museum, public library branch, gardens, athletic and community spaces, and expansive public grounds designed for learning, reflection, and connection. 🌳🏛️

As it opens to the public, the Center stands as a space shaped for engagement—where history, civic life, and everyday experience come together. 🌎

Is AI automating design? Not exactly. We believe AI's true power lies in expanding a designer's capacity, not replacing it.

Design is about judgment, empathy, and interpretation. By automating production, like standard sign types in wayfinding systems, we free up mental bandwidth for strategic work, storytelling, and focusing on the human experience. The question isn't if AI will replace design, but how it can better support intention.

We’re hiring a Wayfinding BIM Coordinator to support the technical ex*****on of Via Collective’s wayfinding systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Revit expert who enjoys translating 2D sign designs into accurate, data-rich families and ensuring they are fully coordinated within architectural models.

You’ll lead the creation and management of signage-focused Revit families at LOD 300, integrate them into project models, and maintain documentation accuracy from design through construction. Working closely with designers, project managers, engineers, and fabricators, you’ll help bridge creative intent with clear, buildable documentation.

We’re seeking someone with 3+ years of BIM coordination or architectural drafting experience, advanced Revit proficiency, and a strong understanding of signage systems, fabrication, and ADA requirements. At Via Collective, you’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team that values quality, curiosity, and thoughtful ex*****on.
