When it comes to protecting your property, having the right security cameras is important. But how they're installed makes all the difference.
Here's a look at a professional security camera installation completed by DV Comm Systems for Michael Bonfiglio at Sunset Court Association in Brooklyn, New York.
This installation feature two exterior-mounted security cameras positioned to monitor different viewing angles around the property. Both cameras are securely mounted to the building's brick exterior and connected through a professionally installed electrical metallic tubing (EMT) conduit system.
One of the standout features of this installation is the cable protection and routing. Rather than leaving communication cables exposed to the outdoor elements, our team used metal conduit and a weather-resistant junction box to provide an organized pathway for the camera wiring.
The two cameras are mounted on opposite sides of a central junction box, allowing coverage of multiple directions from a single installation location.
Outdoor security cameras are exposed to rain, wind, changing temperatures, and other environmental conditions. Proper cable protection, secure mounting, and thoughtful camera positioning help support long-term performance and simplify future servicing.
