The Collected Works

The Collected Works is the New York based design studio of Justin Colt and Jose Fresneda.

Over the past year we’ve done branding and interactive design for startups, creative direction and packaging for independent musicians, and retail displays for a multinational apparel company. Outside of client-based work, we’ve developed and funded self-initiated entrepreneurial projects, which have allowed us to experiment in new mediums and push ourselves to unexpected places.

We’re thrilled to collaborate with once again on the design system for their 2025 Core77 Design Awards Call for Entries.

This year, we crafted an ever-evolving, responsive design system inspired by the silhouette of the Core77 trophy. Our wireframe cube adapts to any size frame, serving as a dynamic tool to mask or reveal winning Core77 projects.

Prolaio’s magic lies in its use of real-time wearable data, empowering patients and their care teams to manage health events before they become critical. To support this, we designed a visual language that subtly captures the “heart” in an artistic way—evoking a sense of calm, care, and reassurance without ever feeling clinical.
