I designed this for South Africa–born Marie Viljoen. The book draws the reader into Viljoen’s beautiful world of unfolding city seasons as she forages through New York City and harvests from her garden to create elegant and inspiring meals that encourage the reader to pause and savor life. "66 Square Feet" has also been covered in the New York Times.

What does a book designer do, anyway?

I magically transform a manuscript and images into a captivating package to illustrate the author’s idea. This book also happens to makes a nice addition to your shelf or coffee table.

Here is a sneak into my process of designing a cover:
1. get and review materials from author/publisher
2. brainstorm ideas
3. select and refine designs
4. present covers to publishing house
