Many big brands have recently discovered the draw of giving their customers the power to customize and create unique products. Whether it’s designing your new Nikes with your favorite color scheme, creating your own artistic ‘wraps’ for your laptop, or putting your kid’s faces on Oreo cookies — customization is proving to be a fantastic way to increase product sales and boost customer loyalty!
Recent 2022 stats by QPmn show that more than 30% consumers want the ability to customize their products, and the number is increasing with Millennials. More than half of the online shoppers (53%) will see those brands that offer product customization as a valuable service. Nearly half of them (45%) are more likely to shop from a store that offers customized recommendations.
The more a consumer feels personally connected to a brand, the more likely they will become a long-term customer.
