Disinformation campaigns are too decentralized for individual social platforms to police. Instead, mapping “hate clusters” could help predict where harmful content will spread. Building on work by scientists at The George Washington University, we found that malicious actors online create redundant connections to each other across platforms to subvert content moderation efforts.
