A client of CCC wanted the ability to add additional HDMI ports to their smart TV and disable the auto switch feature that kept switching to his NVIDA Shield TV, every time the cable converter was selected.. Here is a case where a client's HP laptop was beginning to suffer from performance issues and needed to be upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Before upgraded to Windows 10 I recommended replacing it with a solid state drive. His original drive was a 1TB WD Black (7200RPM). His storage requirements was minimum.. We installed a 500GB drive.

A client purchased a new HP Dell Laptop computer with a standard 1TB 5200RPM mechanical drive. A standard for the big box stores. I recommended he replace it with a SSD has it may suffer from performance issues within a few months of use -- especially if it is running Windows 10.

A client was getting concern about the reliability of there internal SSHD drive on their Nvida Shield TV (2015) streaming device. An upgrade of the SSHD to a Samsung 860EVOI 500GB SSD was installed. He has gain in both SPEED and reliability.

ALERT! IF you do not wish to have Windows 10 automatically installed over your Windows 7 or Windows 8x. Go to the Windows Update Section and choose CHANGE SETTINGS. Select "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them." This will give you the option to control what is installed.

Updating can result in some problems with certain systems.
