Tim Apple, I mean Tim Cook, has been a strong leader (financially) for Apple these past years, reinforcing his choice by Steve Jobs to take over at the helm at a critical juncture for the company. Despite all the new products and solid financial performance, he has failed in a spectacular fashion on one of the most important aspects of his tenure. And that is, when Jobs told him to “just do the right thing”, Tim Cook could not summon within his gay self the ability to thwart bowing down to King Trump. Unfortunately his legacy will be tainted by that shameful failure alone. May the next generation of Apple corporate leadership not make that same mistake.
