RTC just made paying your fare in Washoe County effortless. Riders can now simply tap a card, phone, or smartwatch and they're on their way – no cash, no exact change, no fumbling for coins.

To help launch the new Tap to Pay feature, our team partnered with RTC to develop the campaign creative, including paid social videos, bus car cards, posters and presentation materials. We also strategized and executed the media buy, with the campaign now running across Meta and YouTube Shorts in both English and Spanish to reach riders throughout the community.

In Washoe County, you can pay (almost) any way. 😉 📲 ⌚ 💳🚍

Launching a new electric bus fleet is an opportunity to do more than announce new vehicles. It’s a chance to tell a larger story about sustainability, community and the future of transportation.

For the Ventura County Transportation Commission’s Coastal Express electric bus launch, Celtis developed a bilingual digital campaign designed to introduce the new zero-emission fleet and reach new audiences across Ventura County.

Drawing inspiration directly from the buses’ marine-themed artwork, the campaign extended the coastal story into digital advertising through a hero video highlighting the environmental and rider benefits of the electric fleet, along with a series of engaging marine-themed trivia videos.

The results:
• 3,893 clicks across Meta and YouTube
• Nearly 60% of campaign clicks came from YouTube
• While the campaign was active, it drove 5% of all new users to the VCTC website
• More than half of campaign visitors were Spanish-speaking, and 87% were new users

The campaign demonstrates what can happen when strong creative, culturally relevant outreach and a measurable digital strategy work together: a fleet launch becomes an opportunity to reach new audiences and build awareness of a cleaner, more sustainable way to travel.

This summer, RTC launched Youth Pass — a program offering free bus rides to students across the Washoe County School District.

Celtis supported the bilingual digital campaign for teens and parents, using UGC-style videos and step-by-step guidance to make registration through the web portal and the Transit App easier.

The impact speaks for itself:
• 980% increase in youth ridership
• 1.29M impressions
• 17,594 clicks
• 18,273 site visits
