Humble beginnings are the best kind
I started from a couch in a $200/month apartment.
Then slept in the back of my office.
I never realize that more than 10 years, 700 clients, several offices and dozens of employees later — I’d still pretty much feel the same.
Along the way it became clear that no goal attained was going to deliver some magic fulfillment.
The fulfillment is only in proving that you can overcome bigger fears, solve tougher problems, and let that propel you forward.
And as a small business owner— there’s so much further to go.
There may be anomalies and moonshot success stories— but I’m not one of them.
For me, it’s come down to consistency, discipline, focus... and time. I’m in it for the long haul.
My only advice is to stay gritty and keep your goals far ahead of you.
Because even when we achieve them, we still have to show up the next day with the same intensity.
