One of our valued team members, who has been with Exbabylon for nearly 13 years, recently faced an unexpected challenge. On his 40th birthday, he woke up to discover a significant failure in his roof, requiring a full replacement in that part of the house.

To make matters worse, his insurance company has declined coverage, citing dry rot that went unnoticed during the home inspection at the time of purchase. As you can imagine, this has brought additional stress during what should be a joyful holiday season.

At Exbabylon, we consider our team family, and we believe in supporting each other in times of need. 🚨 With the recent CrowdStrike incident impacting global IT systems, threat actors are attempting to exploit the situation with phishing attacks targeting distressed organizations. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has observed increased malicious activity, including phishing attempts.

👀 What can you do about this? Stay extra vigilant! Avoid clicking on links in emails from unknown or suspicious sources, and do not respond to suspicious requests for information or access. Remind your teams to be cautious and follow instructions from legitimate sources only.
