You can significantly reduce the number of phone calls to your by sending domain users and notification that their password will expire in a specific number of days. In my most recent article I give you the script that accomplishes this and show you how to automate these notifications to be sent out weekly.

You can use PowerShell to send Active Directory password expiration notifications to users. To do this, you'll need to create a script that queries Active Directory for user accounts with expiring passwords and then sends notifications to those users.
