I have been getting a lot of calls, regarding a computer scam, that is very active. I thought I would let everyone know of this scam, and what to do if you experience it. If you receive a pop up, on your computer, telling you that you have a virus, please call Microsoft at ###-###-###x, DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER, THIS IS A SCAM. They will con you into giving them access, to your pc, and then tell you that your pc is infected, and you must let them repair it. That's when they drop the $300 bomb, and in some instances, even more. This is not microsoft, and they are only trying to get your money, and in the end, they do nothing to repair your pc. If this happens, do not call the number, and you will need the malware, that is on your pc, removed. I have seen instances where they actually locked someones pc, because they didn't pay them. Yes, this can be done, and it's pretty easy, if you let them access your pc. If you experience this scam, please call me, and I will remove the problem for you, at a small fraction of what they want you to pay, for doing nothing.
