Business owners — I want some insight on this.

We waste SO MUCH TIME interviewing people for our cleaning business who clearly don’t actually want the job.

After you’ve hired people long enough, you can usually tell within the first few minutes. They applied. They scheduled the interview. They showed up… but everything about the conversation tells you they have zero interest in actually taking the job.

So what’s going on?

Are people required to apply or interview for jobs to maintain certain benefits? Are they just mass applying to everything? Are employers doing something wrong in the hiring process?

I’m genuinely curious because the amount of time businesses waste scheduling, preparing for, and conducting interviews with people who seemingly never intended to take the job is crazy.

Other business owners — are you seeing the same thing?

And if you’ve figured out a better way to screen applicants BEFORE the interview, I’d love to hear it in the comments.

Imagine the world we’re living in when our Vice President, a man who openly professes his Christian faith, talks about sitting across from powerful world leaders and feeling a darkness or heaviness around some of them.

Some of the other claims being discussed—AI, satanic symbolism, burial rituals, etc.—I can take with a grain of salt until I see the facts for myself. But the part about sensing darkness? As a Christian, that resonates with me.

I’ve been saying for a while that what we’re watching feels bigger than Republican vs. Democrat or left vs. right. There is a battle between good and evil playing out in our culture, our politics, and across the world.

I can’t remember another time in my life when I’ve felt this kind of heaviness over our country. Maybe you feel it too.

My response isn’t panic or fear. It’s to get deeper into the Word. Pray more. Protect and pour into your family. Take care of your health. Pay attention to what’s happening around you. Strengthen your faith. Stay prepared.

I pray that Christians—and our country as a whole—can come together, rise above the division, and choose what is good.

These feel like dark times. But darkness is exactly when light matters most.

Stay grounded. Stay faithful. Stay ready. 🙏🇺🇸

🚨 I’M GOING TO TEST META’S OWN GROWTH PLAN FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH.

I stumbled across this inside Meta Business Suite under Insights. It’s a Weekly Plan created by Meta that gives you specific goals they want you to hit each week.

For example, this week they’re telling me to:

• Publish 6 Facebook posts
• Publish 6 Instagram posts
• Publish 39 Facebook Stories
• Publish 45 Instagram Stories
• Run an ad
• Maintain their recommended response rate
• Stay active in Insights

So I started wondering…

What happens if I actually do exactly what Meta is telling me to do?

For the next month, I’m going to try to complete these weekly plans as closely as possible and track what happens to my reach, engagement, followers and overall page growth.

No guessing about what the algorithm wants. I’m literally going to follow Meta’s own checklist and see if it makes a difference.
