This coming storm may be potentially devastating for many small businesses. Even closing for one day is a hard hit, a very hard hit for a local business and especially an independent restaurant. Please support your favorite small spots before the storm and also next week to help us recover any losses we may have. We appreciate it so very much and your support means more the world to us. ❤

*UPDATE* The Salvation Army emergency shelter will also be open 24 hours this weekend.

Anyone who needs shelter from the weather can find it at Food and Shelter, Inc. or City Care. Both will be open 24 hours starting today. Food & Shelter will stay 24 hours through the 29th. City Care will be open 24 hours through Monday.

Some tips for the outdoor pantries! And please donate to our friends at as they are working hard to keep our unhoused neighbors safe in this upcoming freezing weather.

Also shelters are really needing donations for winter weather gear, please consider donating stuff you don't use anymore.

🍂 Help Us Feed Families This Thanksgiving! 🍂

From now until November 25, 2025, The Pizza Palace is proudly accepting donations for the Homeless Military Veterans Organization. We are collecting items to provide hot, hearty Thanksgiving meals to families and individuals in need.

We need:
Turkey or ham (frozen or fresh)
Stuffing mix
Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots, peas)
Canned cranberry sauce
Potatoes (instant or fresh)
Gravy (canned or packet)
Dinner rolls or bread
Pie (pumpkin, apple, or pecan)
Butter and cooking oil
Rice or pasta
Soup or broth

Every donation will be cooked and shared with those who might otherwise go without a meal this holiday. At The Pizza Palace, we believe no one should go hungry and with the Homeless Military Veterans Organization, we know that together, we can make a difference.

This season, let’s show our community that we are all family. We all have battles we’re fighting, and nobody should have to face them alone. Your donation isn’t just food it’s hope, love, and care for someone who truly needs it.
