In 2025, Atlas Tech strengthened its Technology Partnership with Databricks to support AI tools, intelligent agents and advanced analytics that enhance mission delivery.

Three Atlas Tech team members, Syed Murshed, James Alston and Temitope Oyeleye, advanced their certifications and received complimentary access to Databricks Academy, building Data Engineering credentials that directly support the work we do for federal customers.

That is what this partnership looks like in practice. Not a logo on a slide, but a team that is more capable because of it.

AI adoption across defense and federal environments is accelerating, and the organizations that will be ready are the ones building toward it now.

At Atlas Tech, secure, scalable infrastructure begins with the people who have spent decades building it.

As Chief Information Officer, John Mentzer oversees Atlas Tech's physical and network infrastructure, guiding enterprise-wide technology initiatives that ensure system resilience, threat management and compliance with Department of Defense requirements.

His work defines the technical foundation that enables Atlas Tech's teams to deliver mission-critical solutions to federal partners across the country.

John's three-decade career began as Atlas Tech's first technician, and he has since served in roles across business development, infrastructure leadership and facility management, opening the company's first Virginia office and expanding operations to San Diego along the way. That institutional knowledge, built across every level of the organization, shapes how John approaches the evolving cybersecurity and technology challenges facing defense IT today.

A U.S. Navy veteran and former electronics technician, John brings firsthand insight into the environment Atlas Tech's customers operate in, applying that experience to the enterprise systems that support the warfighter every day.

On Juneteenth, our A+ Team Members spent the afternoon at One-Eighty Place supporting the Clients and Community Lunch Service, a meaningful way to honor a day rooted in freedom, resilience, and collective care.

Together, our volunteers helped prepare and serve a hot, nutritious meal in a space where every guest is welcomed with dignity and compassion. A simple plate of food can become so much more: a moment of rest, a reminder of belonging, and a signal that our community shows up for one another.

We’re proud of our team for giving their time, energy, and heart to ensure every person who walked through the line felt valued and supported. Service like this reflects who Atlas is: committed, compassionate, and always ready to make a positive impact. 🧡

In 2022, Laurence Mills joined Atlas Tech after a 22-year career with the U.S. Air Force. The DoD SkillBridge program was his path to employment as a Systems Administrator and found something he wasn't expecting from an internship.

"I was treated like a full-time employee from day one. I was assigned to a project and given the same expectations and responsibilities as all other Team Members."

That is exactly the point. SkillBridge at Atlas Tech isn't a placeholder, but a direct path to a second career doing work that matters, alongside a team that understands the military experience, because most of us have lived it.

The DoD SkillBridge program allows service members to gain civilian work experience during their last 180 days of active duty. At Atlas Tech, that means real projects, real accountability and a real path forward.

Another successful Saturday with Park Circle Cares, helping to serve our community! 🥕🍗🥫 A+ Team Members distributed dry goods, canned veggies, frozen chicken, fresh produce, and more, reaching 104 families and supporting over 391 mouths. Grateful for teammates who always show up with heart. 🧡
