There’s a strange thing that happens with Realtor marketing.
Eventually, agents start creating content that other agents understand better than the people they’re actually trying to reach.
Production numbers. Awards. Closings. Market statistics. New listings.
None of that is bad content.
But a homeowner doesn’t automatically know what any of it says about your ability to sell their home.
That’s where the content gets interesting.
Don’t just show that you sold it. Explain what you did to sell it.
Don’t just post the price improvement. Explain how you knew the original strategy needed to change.
Don’t just announce multiple offers. Talk about the marketing that helped create the demand.
That’s the difference between documenting your real estate business and actually marketing your expertise.
Your Instagram marketing, personal branding, listing marketing, real estate content, and social media strategy should help a future client understand what makes you good at your job before they ever have to ask.
🧠 The Psychology Behind It: Processing Fluency
People trust information more easily when they can quickly understand what it means for them. Your accomplishments become much more persuasive when you translate them into something a homeowner can connect to their own situation.
💌 Love Note: Don’t just show people that you’re successful. Give them enough context to understand why.
