For several years in the mid-90s, Cowen Design was the design firm of choice for the Center for the Fine Arts Miami. In 1995, they commissioned the Kenny Scharf “Heads” series. Cowen Design, using the very fine CFA standards structure in place at the time, designed a printed exhibition piece for this show.

Thirty years later, "Heads" continues to be as stunning and relevant as ever. This knockout series is now showing at Lio Malca's 60 White in Tribeca, NYC as “Kenny Scharf: Space Travel”, along with other Kenny Scharf pieces. 60 White reached out to Cowen Design Miami to obtain the original CFA brochures to show it in this exhibition and provide a more complete background of the series for their visitors.

As someone who saves everything, I was happy to comply with the one found. Many others to be found shortly.
