Through our partnership with Workbay, Securus is helping connect education inside facilities to real employment opportunities. Workbay links learning programs to resume-building tools, certifications, and access to more than 4 million job listings nationwide.

Currently deployed statewide in Florida and Texas, the platform serves over 220,000 tablet users, with strong, consistent engagement.

When Tomia Jackson shares her journey, she brings a sense of hope that’s easy to feel. ✨ A proud ScholarCHIPS alumna and Tuskegee University graduate, she’s now looking ahead to earning her doctorate. Her path with ScholarCHIPS began when her mom spotted the scholarship application on the Securus tablet and encouraged her to apply, a moment that opened the door to something bigger.

ScholarCHIPS supports students with incarcerated parents, and last year we partnered to make their scholarship application more accessible by bringing the application to 550,000 tablets across 48 states via our tablets.

📘 More than 660,000 incarcerated individuals have received access to free, self-paced educational programs
⏱️ 23 million hours of learning completed
🎓 3 million courses completed nationwide

Education is one of the strongest predictors of successful reentry—reducing recidivism by 43% and increasing employment opportunities by 13%.
