When I see these posts about people fighting against data centers, I can't help but wonder if they even know why these are "needed". We create these monsters ourselves. If people would stop using AI driven technology then this push for these centers wouldn't be necessary. But our society doesn't understand that the more we demand our tech to be "smart" the more of these places will have to be built.
So we can continue our demand for advanced technology or we can cut back. I don't think we will ever cut back. The more lazy and dependant our society gets, the more computing power will be needed. I don't like or want these data centers, they are only here to fill a demand.

Just a reminder about lithium batteries. This lithium-ion battery has gone bad and began to swell. Luckily this customer brought the laptop in before it got bad enough to cause a fire.
Do not run your laptop plugged in all of the time. Let the battery do its job and discharge properly every so often.
