The SDSC Supercomputing Club is gearing up for the Student Cluster Competition at SC25, kicking off this week, ICC is proud to support the team with the high-performance system they’ll be using to compete, helping bring their ideas to life.

Built on a GIGABYTE 5U 8-Bay server chassis, the system combines powerful AMD EPYC CPUs, AMD Instinct GPUs, and ScaleFlux storage. With assembly guidance from Ryan Emmerich at Applied Data Systems , the students assembled, configured, and optimized the system for the competition, preparing it for peak performance!

It’s inspiring to work alongside the talented students at UC San Diego School of Computing, Information and Data Sciences (SCIDS) and UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering (JSOE). They’ve put in incredible work to get this system ready - make sure to cheer them on as they compete on the SC stage!
