Dan captured these beautiful images of the Packers’ Lambeau Field last weekend on the way to Door County, WI. He had wanted to visit this historic site since December 31, 1967, the date of the famous Ice Bowl game, which he saw on the family black-and-white TV. Lambeau was pretty basic back in those days, but it looks fantastic now. The image of the field is the south end zone where the famous game-winning touchdown by Bart Starr occurred towards the end of the Ice Bowl. The Packers earned their 5th straight NFL championship title under head coach Vince Lombardi. Two weeks later, the Packers won their 2nd Super Bowl. The other images are of the atrium, where weddings and wedding receptions take place. The stadium has meeting rooms galore along with game-day social areas and luxury suites.
