Wade’s Way Park – Rental Discussions
• Committee discussed concerns regarding low rental interest after potential renters learn pricing information
• Discussion held regarding refundable deposits for bathroom rentals and maintaining accountability for damages
• Committee discussed advantages and concerns related to pavilion rentals and private event usage
• Parking concerns and communication issues related to previous events at the park were discussed
• Committee discussed balancing private rentals while maintaining the park as a public space
• Committee discussed developing formal rental agreements outlining rules, regulations, liability, and renter responsibilities
• Discussion held regarding possible rental of the field, pavilion, or entire park for exclusive use during events
• Committee discussed using “Private Event” signage or tape to identify reserved areas during rentals
• Committee discussed shared liability language if multiple groups use the park simultaneously
• Proposed improvements discussed included:
-Water fountains

-Shade trees
-Gazebos or canopy structures

• Six-hour blocks for field rentals

Oak Grove Utilities:

Due to an issue with the ACH file import process, May bill payments were not automatically drafted on May 18, 2026.

The issue has been corrected, and the payment file has now been successfully processed.

Customers enrolled in monthly ACH draft payments will see the May payment post to their accounts tomorrow, May 28.

Due to the timing of this matter, the City is proactively attempting to send out mass text notifications to all utility customers to ensure everyone is informed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding.
