*Real world example from our Electronics Faculty*

Why is electronics such a big and important industry? Consider the price of an air fryer. When the air fryer ceases to turn on after multiple times of use, many would think that it is time to dispose of it and purchase a new one. But would you be surprised to know that in some cases it is simply an easily obtainable $5 micro switch?

Approximately 75% of basic electronics issues can be diagnosed with your 5 senses and a digital multimeter providing you have the foundation to understand what you’re sensing or measuring, and safely repair. Having an education in electronics not only helps you in the workforce but also in your every day life. In our modern and technologically heavy world, technicians are in higher demand than ever.

If you want to be one of the folks who keep things working, visit our next open house on Feb 29th, 4-7pm!
