Coach Mike is not only helping me, personally, work on my health with weight loss and fitness, but he is largely focused on helping me heal my muscles, ligaments, and realigning me from the injuries I have encountered as they hold me back from doing many things. Hey everyone,

I apologize for the long absence from the page. Life brought about changes and I decided to pursue something that our family needs most. I do still enjoy and love creating content, however for now I am only able to offer it as a side hobby when able.

I appreciate the encouragement and support of so many! When I can I will still share posts here as I love to help others succeed in their life and business too.

I was honored to create this beautiful logo for a truly incredible bakery/designers Mommy and Me shop!

I created a few pieces until the right one was picked, and out of all of them this is by far my favorite, (I’ll share the examples in an album on my Social Media this week.) I put a lot of work into each detail, which is exactly what Robyn Marsh-Tizzano does with every delicious treat and creative design she makes! I’m truly grateful Robyn and her daughter chose me, and picked a piece to represent their business. Thank you for letting me be of service!

SOCIAL MEDIA & BUSINESS:
“Why your personal page can ruin your business”

In today’s society social media is vital in a business, and to have one you need a personal page. The mistake I see too often is many business owners (or examples to the community) share their strong and sensitive personal opinions and beliefs publicly on their personal page, or they add current & potential customers into their inner circle and share the information with others who may find offense in what they have shared. This is a great mistake to make as it can cause the wrong type of attention, and push people to boycott your business. You can even get unwanted criticism for sharing a bad personal review of a local business.
Therefore it is VITAL to be cautious on what you share & say, being extra careful on how you word yourself, and as well as the comments you leave on others posts regardless if it’s a personal friends page, or a public group. People are searching out business owners personal pages, they want to get to know who they’re supporting or wanting to support, and if there are controversial topics, hate speeches, or rudeness/anger being displayed by them it can cause a loss of business.

Think carefully before sharing, and maybe even look back at your page if you need to remove or limit who you want to see a post. We all are human, and we have all made mistakes, but some cannot be taken back once it is posted, thanks to screenshots. Some things last forever... at that point a sincere apology, with no excuses, it vital and needed.

Hello Everyone!

As we all face this difficult time in our world over the Covid-19 paramedic it is crucial for us in the business world to stay a step ahead, and think outside the box to continue to promote our businesses....

Today a wonderful company I contract with in Social Media Management, who also offers services in Web Development, Moss Web Works, shared a wonderful email with their clients. I was able to receive permission from the owner Jennifer Moss to share some tips from her email earlier today...

Jennifer Moss encouraged her business clients to,

"Communicate with your Customers, let your customers know how your business is handling the current Covid-19 situation... Use Social Media to reach your customers and potential customers to let them know if your hours are changing, what you are doing to santize your space (if retail), and assure them you are open and can serve them during this time."

She continued on to encourage business owners to,

"Communicate with your Team, your staff can work together, even while work from home. There are many tools available for remote collaboration: Dropbox to securely share documents, Zoom or Skype for teleconferencing, and Trello, Asana, or Slack for group collaboration."

She went on to share an example of a local business called,

"Love Cafe" which is a small town vegan restaurant in Oakhurst, CA who have already utilized their page to announce how they plan to face this virus by taking additional measures of "...vigilantly handling cleanliness in their restaurant, as well as offering a new service: food deliver," and how "This is the perfect example of communicating with their customers and being creative with new business offerings."

She continued to encourage her business clients to find new ways of services or products to offer during this time while people are self-quarantine, and even encouraged to share some lighthearted humor, and focus on positivity in their posts. As well as making sure to keep yourself and employees safe. That there are many wonderful options in technology to keep in touch remotely for every business owner and their employees.

I'd also would like to add that I see a lot of people who were planning get together's, or have weekly/monthly meeting they attend, now having to cancel to stay safe. We are very blessed the ability to utilize our Social Media accounts, as well as many of the other wonderful remote options Jennifer Moss mentioned when communicating with your team. Perhaps you host a vital private meeting that anonymity is key? Facebook groups can be a perfect way to utilize a remote private meeting by setting the group to private, having you and selected admin's approve members requests to join, and having a questioner to enforce anonymity and respecting the rules, etc. Or if you like the face to face you can use Skype to have members join on their phones or computers to still attend a meeting remotely. If you were planning a get together, a baby shower, birthday party, etc. Facebook has some great options to keep the party alive through group pages as well! We have all been invited to a LuLaRue or ColorStreet Nails party, you can use the same idea to continue your party remotely with a Facebook group party, and use registries online like Target, or Amazon for a special gift.

Local Business Spotlight!

Mariposa Coffee Company

ABC30 recently did a local special on Mariposa Coffee Company, and the video game out amazingly. This coffee is roasted just outside Yosemite National Park in Mariposa, their shop has a warm welcome feeling when walking in, with lots of amazing coffee flavors to choose from, mugs, tshirts, hoodies, zip up jackets, bags, hats, and treats. You’ll find this family always loves to welcome their guests, and make them feel at home. Sometimes you even get a chance to watch them roast a new batch of coffee too! They have a sweet family dog, and a spot both inside and out to sit and enjoy the scenery.

We discovered them when driving past to go into the town of Mariposa, and finally decided to stop by one day just a little after we had our son. When we walked in I remember feeling so excited, I wanted to see everything, but our new little baby was sound asleep in his car seat from the cozy drive. The family came up and offered to watch him so we could go explore and enjoy, and stayed within our sights. It was so much fun seeing everything they had, and we even got to experience roasting a fresh new batch with them too. My husband proudly walked back into the shop with the still hot bag of fresh roasted coffee to purchase, our son had the biggest smile on his face from enjoying this wonderful family, and when we got home my husband immediately brewed up some of his new coffee and it was absolutely delicious. Since we have been back time and time again, we truly feel like apart of the family, they know our son and we all are always so amazed at how big he has gotten over the years, and have a running joke (well we hope it comes true lol) that our son will one day work for them. We even introduced family to them who live farther away but will order from them online, and stock up when they come to visit us. We always prefer going to their store to purchase from them even though our local stores carry their coffees too, because we enjoy visiting with them and love the atmosphere there.
