FREE Summer Healthcare Training for Rising Seniors

Lorain County students entering their senior year in 2026-27 now have the opportunity to earn their Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) credential — at no cost — through the OTC+ Health Collaborative.

This five-week summer program gives students hands-on experience in the healthcare field while building a direct pathway into high-demand careers including nursing, patient care, radiology, ultrasound, and other healthcare technician roles.

Students have the opportunity to:
🔹 Earn an industry-recognized CNA credential
🔹 Gain real-world clinical experience
🔹 Explore healthcare career pathways
🔹 Build connections to post-secondary and workforce opportunities

More than 140 summer interns have completed their first week of employment with industry partners across Greater Cleveland. These results show a continued demand for career-technical education and the powerful alignment between education and employers.
