Good Design should be understood by everyone. I watched this so you don't have to. It is pretty short, though, so just go and watch it. The first phonetic alphabet, one that relied on how words sounded, was created by regular people, trying to communicate. It was simpler than hieroglyphics. You did not need to know what each symbol meant. You did not need to be one of the ruling elite. You just could sound out the pictures. It's democratic and very cool.

It became the basis for most written languages, beginning 4,000 years ago in the Sinai desert.

Accessibility benefits everyone.

I attended a Meetup webinar where I learned how New Yorkers and people with print disabilities nationwide can access free Braille, audio, and magnified books and periodicals. They also covered the library’s free, peer-led tech coaching designed with accessibility in mind, and introduced new Braille e-readers that are helping support Braille literacy. I found it especially helpful to learn how to create Braille materials like brochures and business cards on a budget, and how to start exploring and making tactile graphics through the library’s resources.

Changing the design to trick people into interacting with your ad may get you some cheap clicks. It won't get you more customers, though. Most likely, it'll get you fewer

This is some pretty good spam. They want me to call. They must get money from the phone call. You can tell spam easily by the reply email address. This one is gdpr @ ctitech .com, which makes no sense for Binance. They also had social media buttons, which had no links. I'd give this spam an 8.

If something isn't aging well, just get rid of it. No one will remember. If they do, they will understand. I watched the TRON sequel with my son. Well, we watched about five minutes. I had raved about the first movie and he kinda agreed to watch it with me. The first movie had an amazing logo, advertisements, cool opening credits, well designed props, and all the glow was hand painted. Nice. In the sequel, Jeff Bridges, somehow still alive, told his recently reunited son that everything was, "on your disc." After watching some more dialogue, my son asked,"What's a disc? Is it like a CD or something?" We turned it off. Hope the third movie is better.

You can tell a good logo, if you wished you'd created it. At first glance, this one looks really cool. Now, it just looks like some hands groping a tuna.

I just finished a Cornell six part User Experience Design course. It started in May and effectively reintroduced many UX concepts like: Human Centered Design Essentials, Effective User Research, Creating User Personas, Developing a UX Design Concept, Prototyping and UX Feedback, and Evaluating Usability. I even have a cert to prove it!
