Carved out some time to do industry reading! Interesting read about label design in the natural wine industry. https://eyeondesign.aiga.org/go-ahead-and-judge-natural-wine-by-its-label/ Do you buy your wine, beer, water (fill in the blank product here) by the design or artwork on the label? Turns out the "right" label can make a significant difference in sales.

Read about these natural wines taking a non-traditional marketing approach. By changing their labels, one wine showed a 750% increase in sales.

Loving the unconventional wine labels that tell the intimate stories of these smaller vineyards. Certainly interesting if you love design and wine! Cheers!

T O G E T H E R

I couldn’t resist sharing one more graphic design by the legendary Milton Glaser. I love this piece he was working on right before he passed. In an interview he did with The New York Times he described the inspiration and idea for this project.

“We're all in this together' has been reiterated a thousand times, but you can create the symbolic equivalent of that phrase by just using the word 'together', and then making those letters [look] as though they are all different, but all related," he told the publication.” - from the NYTimes article.

Amazing at his craft and still doing culturally relevant work at 90yrs old while being isolated during this pandemic time.

This piece gives me visual hope for the future. So I wanted to share it in case you didn’t get an opportunity to see it yet.
