Happy Monday to our Customers.

We’re excited to announce an an update on our Ochelata Service area. Totah has been providing a service to Ochelata since 1954 from Landline to Dial up to DSL and now Fiber. We strive to provide the best service to our customers. In our Ochelata exchange we are fully fiber to the home except a small dead end road N3960/Stoneridge addition. This area has a crew coming to place fiber once we are finished with a state project west of town on Hwy 11. If you are within our service area and wish to check availability for fiber service, do not hesitate to call us at (918) 535-2208.

We have also received word from some concerned citizens about crews in town putting fiber up on poles. Totah does not use any aerial fiber. All of our cable is safely buried below the ground, and these are not Totah contractors. We strive to provide the most reliable service to our customers, and find that fiber buried below the ground is safer during the extreme weather we get here in tornado alley.

If you ever have any questions or concerns about crews or service in town, do not hesitate to reach out at (918) 535-2208.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving the Ochelata area for years to come!

Please Share this info with your neighbor.

Such a great time participating in our hometown Christmas parade. Here at Totah we love our small-town community and enjoy the many families we get to interact with as well as employee. Thank you to all the staff who helped put these 2 trucks together this afternoon and thanks to the 2 who drove them in the parade this evening.

On this day 84 years ago on a quiet Sunday Morning at 7:48 a.m. the attack on Pearl Harbor began. At the time the U.S. was neutral in the ongoing World War II. However this attack would propel them into declaring war on Japan the following day.

"Yesterday December 7, 1941 a date which will live in infamy"
-Franklin D Roosevelt

We want to remember all the lives of so many armed forces members who perished that day along with civilian casualties.

The attack on the island of Ouahu that day has a direct relationship with a piece of Totahs early history. In February of 1945 E.R. Gailey enlisted in the United States Navy. His assignment was on the island of Ouahu to restore communications across the island from the attacks just years prior in the war. This was his introduction into telecommunications.

It would only be a short 9 years later that he would be working for South Western Bell out of Bartlesville, Ok when he would be chasing trouble on a line that would lead him to Ochelata and into a gentleman's house by the name of Mr. Slaybauh where a transaction was made and the Ochelata Telephone company was acquired later named Totah Telephone Company until 2004 when it changed its name to Totah Communications Inc.

This past October a few of the current employees and member of the Gailey family were able to visit the Memorial on Pearl Harbor and this story was shared by the 3rd (Mark Gailey) & 4th (Mitch Gailey) generation employees to hopefully one day the 5th Generation family member employees.

It was a very special moment for them to have the ability to share these stories amongst others of the History of this family owned and operated business. It is our pleasure to share this piece of history of our company with everyone on this day.
