It was parade time this morning for Fun Days. Up first as the kids' parade as the youngsters got to ride their bikes and other wheeled transportation. Following that was the main parade. The beautiful morning saw a host of folks come out to enjoy the weather and the parade. Kids were scrambling for all the candy while the adults enjoyed sitting back. Plenty more going on at Fun Days through the rest of the this afternoon and tonight!

It's Fun Days Friday! The celebration is still going on currently. The car show is running until 8 p.m. along with some of the other features going on. Plenty of fun to be had in Ogden this evening.

A black 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen in Ogden, Iowa.

Iowa License Plate: JEM618

It went missing sometime between 8:30 PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 and 5:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Today was the start of the summer reading program in Ogden. There was a presentation about some snakes, turtles and other reptiles. Kids were able to take hold of the various snakes and learn more about them.

We’ve received a few inquiries about graduation information going into the paper, and we appreciate everyone reaching out.

We do have a plan in place to publish this information, as it has been done in the past, and it is currently in progress.

As we’ve taken on two new papers and worked through some quick transitions behind the scenes, we haven’t yet been able to compile everything in a way the graduates deserve. We are actively working on it and will have it published as soon as possible.
