Statement from Commissioner Jason Lowe on His Re-Election to the Oklahoma County Commission, District 1 to a Four Year Term

"Tonight, the voters of District 1 spoke clearly, and I am deeply honored by the trust they've placed in me for a full term as their County Commissioner.

This win belongs to the voters who showed up for a runoff because they believe in good government, transparency, fairness, justice, and opportunity for everyone. They know the difference between a Commissioner who is deeply connected to this community and an opponent who wasn't. I'm grateful to the voters, elected officials, labor unions, and community leaders who stood with this campaign, and to my family for their constant support.

There's more work to do. Over the next term, I'll keep fighting to fix and maintain the 200+ miles of roads in our district, expand access to healthcare and mental health treatment, promote responsible policing and rehabilitation over incarceration for non-violent offenders, and grow good jobs and small businesses across Oklahoma County.
