The latest DragonForce campaign is a perfect example of how attackers adapt faster than most organizations. Users have been conditioned to distrust email, so threat actors are moving into collaboration tools where people are more likely to let their guard down.

Because apparently "Hi, can you help me with this?" hits differently when it comes from Teams.

Here's the uncomfortable truth:

If your cybersecurity strategy begins and ends with email filtering, you're fighting yesterday's battle.

Attackers are targeting:
- Teams chats
- Teams calls
- Trusted business platforms
- Human nature

And let's be honest—most employees will question a random email before they question a Teams message from someone who looks like a coworker.

Security awareness training can no longer be just "don't click links."

It needs to be:

✅ Verify identities
✅ Question unexpected requests
✅ Treat Teams, Slack, and other collaboration tools with the same skepticism as email
✅ Report first, click later
