It's . Did you know that the Foster Care Review Office has a volunteer base across Nebraska that reviews real cases of youth in out-of-home care and makes recommendations to the state?

Their system oversight and advocacy for what's in the best interest in children is crucial.

One of the things we appreciate most about the Nebraska Children's Commission is how they bring people of all walks of life together through their workgroups and committees and encourage public participation.

When it comes to child welfare and juvenile justice, if you’ve ever thought, “Someone should really fix that,” these are the rooms where the conversations are actually happening.

And by attending a meeting you will have the opportunity to join a workgroup or committee if you want to get more involved!

✨Big moment for this little studio.✨

Last night, Say Hey There took home two Pinnacle Awards​ from AMA Omaha.

📣 Category: Paid Social Media (Nonprofit)
For our work with the Foster Care Review Office, we built a volunteer recruitment campaign designed to remove barriers and ​make it easier for people to take the first step. Through targeted, thoughtful​, and engaging paid social, we helped generate 584 qualified ​volunteer inquiries ​in 2025 and created a stronger, more sustainable pipeline of community members ready to step into meaningful roles.

📣 Category: Special Event (Nonprofit)
For the First Responders Foundation's Omaha Guns & Hoses Challenge, we helped ​d​rive attendance through strategic promotion, clear event communication, and game-day ex*****on. The ​2025 result​ was nearly 3,000 attendees, a 35% increase in ticket sales, and more than $100,000 raised​.​

As a small, independent creative studio, ​it's an honor to be in that room alongside so many talented teams and agencies and to have this work recognized. ​​F​eeling very grateful. 🖤

Special thanks to the Foster Care Review Office and First Responders Foundation, two partners I genuinely love working with. It's a privilege to play even a small part in supporting your work.

In a world of constant production, it's important to be thoughtful about the materials and resources we use. Signage, promo items, mailers, giveaways, transportation, merch...what we choose matters.

Things to think about:
✨ Does this need to be printed, or can it be digital (e.g. move signage to slide deck)?
✨ Virtual meetings instead of driving
✨ Using recyclable and reusable materials whenever possible (e.g. dry erase big checks for sponsor presentations, recyclable signage)
✨ Supporting local merch shops
✨ Making events zero-waste
✨ Have ways to evaluate whether mailers are effective
