For fiscal 2025 Audio Contractors has been awarded Diamond Level Dealer for Sony, this being our 10th consecutive recognition.

Sony Electronics & TCL Electronics. Rumor control.

Representatives from Tandem Marketing stopped by to share important clarification regarding recent chatter in the market: Sony has plans to purchase a 49% stake in TCL Electronics. The intent behind this move is straightforward—Sony aims to leverage TCL’s global reach and deep expertise in panel manufacturing.

Some online sources, often circulated by competitors, have misrepresented the purpose and implications of this partnership. The reality is far more strategic and mutually beneficial. This collaboration strengthens Sony’s leadership in image quality by securing a dedicated, partially owned source for panel production.

What will not change is the integrity of the Bravia brand. Sony’s renowned processing, quality standards, and performance expectations remain firmly in place, ensuring continued dominance in both retail and custom integration channels.
