You don’t get to see my face much around here! Usually, I’m hiding behind a computer screen all day. 😂 So here I am, proof that there is, in fact, a human being behind all the pretty paper!

But since you’re here, let’s talk about why hiring a professional stationer is different from designing your invitations yourself.

With so many DIY options out there, it’s easier than ever to make an invitation. But there’s a lot more that goes into creating a great wedding invitation than plugging your names into a template.

It’s about choosing the right paper that will work best with your printing method and vision.

It’s knowing which fonts, colors, and elements work together to create a beautiful, intentional design.

It’s understanding what wording goes on your invitation (and what definitely doesn’t belong on it).

It’s knowing when a design needs more breathing room—or less.

It’s sourcing all the pretty extras and finishes that aren’t always available to the average consumer.

It’s making sure all of your paper goods tie together, from the invitation to the menus, place cards, and signage.

It’s handling all the tedious details like assembly, embellishments, addressing, and mailing.

And it’s having enough experience to catch the little things before they become expensive problems.

Most importantly, it’s taking your ideas and creating something that feels like you, rather than starting with a template and trying to make yourselves fit into it.

So yes, you can design your own invitations. But there’s a difference between making an invitation and working with someone whose job is to make wedding stationery.

And that difference is what you’re investing in. 🤍

Ultra-classy & ultra-chic. 🖤

Annie & Jared’s black and white wedding invitations were letterpressed and layered on black cardstock for extra dimension and luxurious thickness. The suite also featured a black envelope liner, and black ribbon tied in a bow to hold everything together. So timeless and elegant!

If I could, I’d probably put wax seals on everything. 😂

If you’re a wax seal lover like me, menus are a great place to use them! It adds such a pretty finishing touch and makes plain paper feel a little more special.

Here’s some menu inspiration from a styled shoot a while back. 🤍

Lowkey obsessed with these custom co****le boards for Georgia & McKay.

Perfect for a summer wedding, but even better because they get to reuse them for years to come!

Designed with their monogram and wedding date so they can always have a little reminder of their special day, along with adorable monogrammed canvas co****le bags in their wedding colors. Such a fun detail that they can keep after the wedding!

How cute is this ski-inspired es**rt display for Alexa & Zach? 🎿

The es**rt cards were designed to look like little ski passes, complete with tiny wickets, and each guest had their own to take to their table.

Two rented wood panels served as the backdrop, with vinyl lettering at the top and a mountain scene below.

Such a fun way to bring the couple’s love of the mountains into the wedding details! 🤍

Even table numbers can be fun!

These dusty blue acrylic arch table numbers were laser engraved and layered with white acrylic for a little extra dimension. I love how they coordinate with the rest of the paper goods and help pull the whole tablescape together!

Pro tip: Have the same stationer who creates your invitations design all of your day-of stationery and signage, too. It’s an easy way to make sure everything coordinates—and it makes such a difference!

I can’t believe I never posted these!

This French-inspired suite was originally created for a styled shoot and later featured in Utah Valley Bride magazine last year. It remains one of my favorite designs and is now part of my semi-custom collection, the Adele & Beau suite.

A soft blue and pink color palette, with deckled edges, a Monet-print envelope liner, plenty of ribbon and all the pretty things.

Oval shapes are featured throughout this design, from the table numbers to the wax seals to the monogrammed floral crest.

Of course, if you choose the Adele & Beau suite, all of the colors and details can be customized to fit your wedding!

Where they met → where they fell in love → where it all led 🤍

Every detail was intentional—from custom illustrations of meaningful places to a layout that tells their story from beginning to now.

Finished with luggage tags for each guest that double as favors (because we love a beautiful + practical detail).

It’s the kind of piece guests actually stop and experience, inviting them into the story.
