Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 in 2025. Is your business prepared?
As many of you may already know, Microsoft has announced that it will officially end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. While this date may seem far off, it’s essential to start preparing now to ensure a smooth transition and continued security for your business
What Does End of Support Mean?
When Microsoft ends support for an operating system, it means that the company will no longer provide updates, including critical security patches, or technical support. Without these updates, your systems could become vulnerable to security risks, malware, and other cyber threats. In essence, continuing to use Windows 10 past this date is like leaving your front door wide open in a neighborhood known for break-ins.
What Should You Do?
The best course of action is to start planning your upgrade to a newer, supported version of Windows, such as Windows 11. Upgrading early ensures that you avoid the last-minute rush, potential downtime, and the stress of transitioning under pressure. Plus, it allows you to take advantage of new features, improved performance, and enhanced security protocols available in the latest versions of Windows.
