It is just a fact of today’s world: we are all learning to do more with less. It is important to identify the greatest value for our time and resources. That means that defining the value of learning (and therefore training) in the workplace is critical. eLearning must direct itself to the specific needs of its audience with learners focused on the important elements to increase retention for on-the-job application. Although the economy remains slow, we can’t be short sighted — only thinking about the current environment — and not planning for the future.
