PS5 and Xbox HDMI port replacement is expensive. Most people just buy a new one, which we think that's what the manufacturers want.

It takes us hours to replace one port so we charge $200. So we offer some advice.

Buy a right angled HDMI cable for your console. The parts they use are cheap and the weight of the cable pulls the port out of place. A right angled cable will have less pull.
