Cool engineering challenges and working with good people. That's what makes us get up in the morning. This tug required CANOpen to monitor motor current draw, RS-232 to a GARMIN ground comm radio, PDM to drive lights and solenoids, safety buzzer, a little bit of Arduino to run a servo, a rotary encoder to register steer position, and an ambient light sensor for auto-brightness.
